Three Districts Across the Cholistan Belt
BISE Bahawalpur was established in 1977 and covers the former Bahawalpur State region — three large districts stretching from the Sutlej down to the Sindh border.
| District | Tehsils include |
|---|---|
| Bahawalpur | Ahmadpur East, Hasilpur, Khairpur Tamewali, Yazman |
| Bahawalnagar | Chishtian, Haroonabad, Minchinabad, Fort Abbas |
| Rahim Yar Khan | Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Liaquatpur |
Rahim Yar Khan is the largest of the three by population and by candidate registration, and Rahim Yar Khan students regularly search for a board under their own district name. There is none — RYK candidates are examined by Bahawalpur board.
Official website: bisebwp.edu.pk. Board office: Cheema Town, Bahawalpur.
How to Reach Your Marks
By Roll Number
Open the board’s result section, select SSC Part 1 (9th Class) Annual 2026, and enter your roll number exactly as printed on your roll number slip. No spaces. The portal shows subject-wise marks, total, grade and pass status. Save it immediately.
By SMS — 800298
Type your roll number as a plain message, no prefix, and send it to 800298. You receive total marks and result status by return message.
Across the outlying tehsils of this board — Fort Abbas, Yazman, Liaquatpur — mobile data can be unreliable while SMS delivery holds up. Keep at least Rs 10 balance before result day.
Through the Gazette
The gazette PDF carries every Bahawalpur board candidate’s record by roll number. Download it from the board site, open it in any PDF reader, and search with Ctrl+F. Search by roll number for an exact match; if you search by name, confirm the right record using your father’s name and school.
Grading and Total Marks
Passing requires 33% in each individual subject. A shortfall in one paper does not cancel marks earned elsewhere.
| Percentage | Grade |
|---|---|
| 80% and above | A+ |
| 70% – 79% | A |
| 60% – 69% | B |
| 50% – 59% | C |
| 40% – 49% | D |
| 33% – 39% | E |
SSC Part 1 carries 505 of the 1,100 marks that make up your matric result. The two parts are added together, so your Part 1 marks form a permanent component of your final matric percentage rather than a separate score that gets replaced.
If your Part 1 total falls short of what you need, the improvement examination is the route to raise it before the matric total is finalised. Confirm the current policy with the board office, as rules on which score is retained vary.
Common Result Issues
Total looks short in a science subject — practical marks and theory marks upload on different schedules. Check how practical marks are counted before filing a complaint.
Marks lower than expected — apply for rechecking within the board’s window. The board verifies totalling and confirms nothing was left unmarked; it does not re-assess your answers.
Result shows withheld or R.L. — neither is a fail. R.L. means result later; withheld usually indicates a registration, fee or record issue. Take it to your school office and the board’s examination branch.
Failed a paper — reappear in that subject alone through the supplementary route, with the supply exam schedule collected from your school.
Website not responding — send the SMS instead of refreshing, then retry the portal after fifteen to twenty minutes.
