There Is No Khushab Board, Mianwali Board or Bhakkar Board

This is the most common confusion among candidates in this region, and it wastes real time on result day.

Students in Khushab search for a Khushab board. Students in Mianwali search for a Mianwali board. Students in Bhakkar do the same. None of these exist. All three districts, along with Sargodha itself, are examined and issued results by BISE Sargodha.

If you are unsure, the board name is printed on your roll number slip. That is the definitive answer, not a search result.

Your districtYour board
Sargodha (Bhalwal, Sahiwal tehsil, Shahpur, Kot Momin)BISE Sargodha
Khushab (Joharabad, Noorpur Thal, Quaidabad)BISE Sargodha
Mianwali (Isakhel, Piplan)BISE Sargodha
Bhakkar (Darya Khan, Kallur Kot, Mankera)BISE Sargodha

Note that Sahiwal tehsil in Sargodha district is not the same as Sahiwal district, which has its own board. Candidates occasionally check the wrong board’s portal because of the shared name.

Established in 1968, BISE Sargodha operates near 49-Tail, Sargodha. Official website: bisesargodha.edu.pk.

Getting Your Marks

Online. Open the result section, select SSC Part 1 Annual 2026, enter your roll number without spaces, and submit for the full subject-wise breakdown.

By SMS to 800290. Send your roll number as a plain message. You receive total marks and status by reply. In the Thal belt across Bhakkar and Mianwali, where data coverage thins outside main towns, this is usually the faster route.

Through the gazette. Download the PDF from the board site and search with Ctrl+F using your roll number.

Grading and What the Marks Add Up To

A candidate passes with 33% in each individual subject.

PercentageGrade
80% and aboveA+
70% – 79%A
60% – 69%B
50% – 59%C
40% – 49%D
33% – 39%E

SSC Part 1 carries 505 marks and feeds directly into the 1,100-mark matric total. Part 1 and Part 2 are added together, which means your 9th class result already caps your maximum matric percentage. Marks lost now cannot be recovered in 10th class — only offset by performing better across the remaining 595.

Next Steps

Failed a subject. Reappear in that paper alone; every other subject’s marks carry forward and the academic year stands. See what to do after failing one subject and the supply exam process.

Marks look miscounted. Apply for rechecking within the board’s window. The board verifies totalling and unmarked questions rather than re-assessing your answers.

Science total looks wrong. Check how practical marks are counted — theory and practical scores upload separately.

Planning for 10th class. Your Part 1 subject-wise marks are the most honest guide you will get to which group suits you in Part 2, and that decision shapes your later FSc options.
