Matric Supply Exam 2026: Dates, Fees & Last Date

If you failed a subject in the 10th class annual result, your admission form for the supplementary examination must reach your board between August 7 and August 29, 2026. The exam itself begins October 6, 2026. Miss August 29 and there is no further window — the next opportunity is the annual examination in March 2027.

Everything below follows the schedule notified by the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) for all nine Punjab BISE boards.

Matric Supplementary Exam 2026 — Complete Schedule

Supplementary matric exams begin on October 6, with admission forms accepted at single fee from August 7 to August 19, double fee from August 20 to August 25, and triple fee from August 26 to August 29, with results expected on December 8, 2026.

Note the gap you actually have. The result lands on August 6. The single-fee window opens the very next morning and stays open thirteen days. That is your cheapest and calmest option, and most students lose it simply by waiting to “decide.”

Single, Double and Triple Fee — What the Terms Mean

Punjab boards do not charge a flat late penalty. They multiply the base fee.

Single fee (Aug 7 – 19)

The standard rate. Submit here and you pay the base amount only.

Double fee (Aug 20 – 25)

Twice the single fee. Six days long — the shortest of the three windows, and the one students most often assume is longer than it is.

Triple fee (Aug 26 – 29)

Three times the single fee, and four days only. August 29 is the final date across all Punjab boards.

On the exact rupee amount: each BISE board issues its own supplementary fee notification and challan for SSC Part-II, and the figure varies by board and by number of subjects. Generate your challan from your board’s portal — BISE Lahore, BISE Multan, BISE Gujranwala and the rest all publish it under the admission or downloads section — rather than relying on last year’s figure or a number quoted on a forum.

Who Needs to Apply

Three groups use this examination:

• Students who failed one or more subjects and were placed in compartment
• Students who were absent from a paper in the annual exam
• Students improving marks or grade, who passed but want a better score

Improvement eligibility differs between boards and is limited by time since first passing. Confirm your specific eligibility with your own board office before paying, not after.

Before you fill anything in, verify exactly which subject you failed using the official gazette. The online result display can lag or misrender under load on announcement day; the gazette PDF is the authoritative record and is what your board acts on.

How to Submit the Admission Form

1. Download the SSC Part-II supplementary admission form from your board’s website.
2. Fill in your roll number, registration number, name and father’s name exactly as they appear on your annual result card — a mismatch here is the most common cause of a rejected form.
3. Enter only the subjects you are reappearing in.
4. Generate the fee challan and deposit it at the designated bank branch.
5. Submit the completed form with the paid challan copy to your board office, or through your school if you are a regular candidate.
6. Keep the stamped receipt. Without it you have no proof of submission if the form is misplaced.

Regular candidates route their forms through their school. Private candidates deal with the board office directly and should allow extra time — the last three days of a fee window produce long queues at every board.

After You Submit

Each board issues its own date sheet and roll number slip separately from the PBCC schedule. Final date sheets and examination centres are announced by the respective Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education, and students should watch their own board’s updates for confirmation of exam dates and roll number slips.

Practical examinations for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science are scheduled separately from theory papers. If you failed a practical-based subject, check whether your reappearance includes the practical component.
